Back in the summer of 1978, my college friend Richard Whitely and I sat down at his kitchen table and started work on a script for a movie that, more than 30 years later, still dominates our professional lives  - - Rock 'n' Roll High School.

What a great evening we had at their studio! How many radio hosts can bake great Lasagna for their guests while rattling off an encyclopedic knowledge of pop culture like Tiffany?

And how many interviewers, like Terry, can manage to keep a show going for four hours on a single topic! Their love and knowledge of movies and American pop culture is apparent the minute you walk in their door, and it really sparks the artistry of their interview.
